This large mahogany China Cabinet had been in a hot storage area which had caused the veneer to dry out allowing the veneer to bubble and come loose. It needed major repairs done on the veneer before the refinishing could be completed.
This s a slow process because of so many areas that had to be reglued. New techniques and tools had to be developed to get the veneer glued down. This repair process took over a week to complete. Once the gluing was completed we stripped, puttied damage veneer areas, sanded, stained, and applied a protective finish.
